Opening a house

Anyone can open a house for any token by pasting its mint; it is free and asks for no signature.

6.1Paste a mint

On Open a house, paste the mint of any token on Solana. The checks run in order, and each one lights as it passes. A check that doesn't pass names its rule and what would pass.

6.2The checks

  1. Mint readableThe mint exists and can be read.
  2. Token program and extensionsSPL Token, or Token-2022 with metadata extensions only, or a zero transfer fee with its authority revoked.
  3. Freeze authorityNo freeze authority, unless the mint is a reserve mint.
  4. Market depthA 1 SOL buy into it moves its price less than 5%.

The token program rule is the one Meteora's curve accepts for a permissionless quote mint. The reserve mints, SOL, USDC, USDT and USD1, pass the freeze authority check.

6.3The operator opens it

When every check passes, the operator opens the house: open_house creates the house and its vault. The operator then makes the house's first curve config, converted into the token at its current SOL price with the vault as its fee claimer, and set_config points the house at it.

The requester signs nothing and pays nothing. The operator is a key that only opens houses and points them at configs, and it never holds funds. The new house appears in Houses, and Create offers it.

6.4A house that already exists

Each token has one house. Pasting a mint whose house is open links to its room, where Launch here opens Create with that house set.
